Pastel Workshop with Larry Hemmerich
Discover the beauty and versatility of soft pastels in this immersive two-day workshop led by acclaimed artist Larry Hemmerich. Designed for artists of all skill levels, this hands-on class focuses on essential pastel techniques, color, composition, and individual artistic expression.
Working from a shared reference image (or one of your own, if preferred), you’ll receive personalized instruction while learning alongside fellow participants and exploring how different artists interpret the same subject.
Participants will receive a required student supply list in their confirmation email and are responsible for bringing their own materials to the workshop. Reference materials and guidance throughout the workshop will be provided. All skill levels are welcome, including beginners.
The workshop takes place Wednesday, October 14, and Thursday, October 15, from 10:00 AM–4:00 PM each day. Registration includes both days of instruction. An optional lunch break is built into the schedule. Space is limited to just 10 participants to ensure an engaging, individualized learning experience.
This workshop includes instruction only. All materials must be provided by the participants.
