Casa Romantica’s bluff-top campus is the former home of Ole Hanson, the founder of San Clemente. Our historic landmark is open daily for self-guided and docent-led tours of the home, permanent exhibits, and 2.5 acres of lush coastal gardens.

Casa Romantica hosts a variety of free arts education programs for children year-round, including arts and garden workshops, story time, and merit-based — never tuition-based — summer intensive music and dance programs. Additionally, thousands of school-age groups visit Casa Romantica every year to learn about local history, horticulture, art, and architecture.
