Honorary Chairs: David and Marcy Peter
David Peter is a longstanding Board Member and current Board President whose unwavering leadership and dedication have helped guide Casa Romantica through some of its most defining moments. As President of Peter Drilling & Contracting, David has built a distinguished career in construction while also serving the community in numerous leadership roles, including as past President of the Boys & Girls Club, Board Member of the Ocean Festival, Board Member of the Dana Angling Club, Master Don of the San Clemente Dons, and Board Member of the Fiesta Association. In 2010, he received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Chamber of Commerce.
David and his wife, Marcy, have been longtime supporters of Casa Romantica and generous sponsors of Toast to the Casa. Marcy is a former United Airlines flight attendant and the former owner of Blue Water of California. Together, their generosity, philanthropy, and enduring commitment have made a lasting impact on Casa Romantica over many years. They are proud parents of four daughters and grandparents to six grandchildren.
In addition to his philanthropic support, David has generously shared his extensive expertise in construction and project management. He played a pivotal role in Casa Romantica’s historic restoration following the 2000 renovations and has once again provided critical guidance and leadership in navigating the recent landslide recovery efforts. His strategic vision, experience, and steadfast commitment—along with Marcy’s continued support—have been instrumental in preserving Casa Romantica’s legacy while helping shape a strong and resilient future for the organization.
