Life During the Gold Rush
Douglas Westfall
An evening presentation by author, publisher and historian Douglas Westfall. Experience life during the Gold Rush based upon the true story of Millie Donohue, a young girl who was born in the roughest gold mining town in the west. Her story as a 12 year old girl and the antics she and her friends get into in the High Sierra Mountains, compares well with Huckleberry Finn.
